Back in elementary school, Brooks anchored the morning show announcements. ​Every time he was on the desk, he would look into the camera as if the entire city was watching. Little did he know, he'd begin his professional TV career in his hometown.

Brooks Baptiste is a weekday morning anchor for Atlanta News First. But prior to calling the metro home, he worked as a trending news reporter in Jacksonville. During his time with First Coast News WTLV/WJXX and Good Morning Jacksonville, he created multiple community based and human interest franchises, and launched 'The Buzz' covering entertainment news, buzz-worthy topics and social media reaction from viewers.

Brooks enjoys connecting with new people, learning from their experiences, and then sharing what he's learned through the stories he writes and tells.
